Know the email address of a missing Classmate? Click here to contact them!

Welcome to the Lewis and Clark High School Class of 1974 website! We've set up this site to stay in touch with our friends from years ago, and specifically right now to plan for our 40 year reunion!

Plus, we've got a Facebook page too! Click here to sign up for that one too!!!

If this is your first time here, you'll need to join the site. Click on the link on the right that says "JOIN HERE", find your name and follow the instructions to set up your profile. The next thing you're going to want to do is help find our other classmates. If you know where anyone is and know their email address you can enter it in the "Missing Classmates" box further down on the right side, and they'll be sent a message to join up.

It's as simple as that!

Our 40 year reunion is scheduled for August 15th through the 17th. Click here for details and signup page. Be there or be square!!!

There are funds available for anyone who might be a little short on funds for the Saturday night fancy dinner. There is a half price option if you would like to take advantage of this. Please contact Matt if you want to do this, it is all completely anonymous. So spread the word and let's get everyone signed up for our fabulous 40th reunion!!!! THE DEADLINE TO SIGN UP IS AUGUST 1st!!!!!

Tickets are now available for purchase online!

Tickets purchased online have a $2.50 charge added. If you wish to pay by check, please make checks for $75 or $65 each payable to:

Are you having trouble pulling the trigger on the Saturday night event?  Well, we've got a special for 10 people to take advantage of, and it just might push you over the top.

A generous classmate of ours who wishes to remain anonymous has offered to split the cost of the Saturday night event with 10 people! That means your cost will be $37.50 if you choose to take advantage of it (or $27.50 if you don't drink)!

Why did this classmate decide to do this? It's to honor the memory of the classmates that aren't able to attend because they've passed away.

When I talked to this person this morning, I started thinking about what they said and how important this reunion could be. Hear me out, I'll try not to go on and on!

I'm super-excited to see my best friends from LC, Sac, Hutton and before. Guys like Neil, Dave, Jay, and Pete. I'm also really looking forward to meeting up with people I've reconnected with on Facebook that I wasn't even that close with before - Mary and Lori to name a couple. Plus, there are the ones I worked with on the reunion, both here and over the internet, like Janie, Beth, Mark, Cori, Jodi, Laura and more.

However, there are those that I won't be able to see - best friends from long ago like Kevin Kennedy, people I got to know better after high school like Randy Osborne, girls that were special to me at different times in my life like Pam Johnstone and Colleen Maher.

Let's face it guys - this is our 40th reunion - there aren't going to be that many more! Though the miles and the years have separated us, and we all look a little older and move a little slower, we still have that bond of high school friendships that can never be broken. Won't it be awesome to revive those friendships for a weekend?

Think about it - I'm sure all of you can substitute different names but the feelings are the same. So call some of those names and get them to come -  make sure you don't wait for another 10 years before you reconnect!

To the benevolent classmate who made this generous offer I say thanks! Not just for the money, but for reminding me of just how important this weekend might be.

OK, enough of the sentimental ramblings. Here's the deal. If you want to take advantage of this half price offer, please click here to contact me confidentially and I'll get you signed up. You choose which option you want to take. But please - take one!

To sign up please contact Beth Phillips or Matt Hellstrom!

Golf. We were thinking of having a golf tournament on Friday, but received little interest in it. If there are people who want to go golfing (very informal, just go out and play) let Matt know and he can set up tee times and get you in touch with each other.

6PM - Informal get together at the Red Lion BBQ and Pub. Located downtown at Main and Division, 126 N Division. Come early, stay late and catch up with all your friends. No food will be provided, but you can order off the menu and I'm here to tell you their Wine Broasted Chicken and Fried Bread is "off the hook"!

11AM - Tour of the School. Come to the school and look around. Find your locker. Hang out at smoker's corner. Just like the old days!

Noonish - Domini's for lunch. Immediately after the tour meet at Domini's for the best sandwiches in the world! Address is 703 W Sprague.

6PM - 10:30PM - Dinner and Dancing at Bluwoods Event Center. Cocktail hour will be from 6 to 7, followed by a few short presentations and fun stuff courtesy of some of our classmates. Dinner will be at 7, and dancing will follow about 7:30 or 7:45. Kick up your heels until 10:30, then you're on your own!

Price for the Saturday night event is $77.50 if you want to drink beer and wine or $67.50 if you don't want to drink. We also have 10 discount tickets available for $40 and $30. These were provided by a generous classmate who would like to give more people the ability to come, if funds are tight. You can choose the option that’s best for you. If you pay by Paypal, there is a $2.50 surcharge, which can be avoided by paying with check.

Dress for this event will be semi-casual, whatever that means to you. I'm going to be wearing clean jeans, a nice shirt, and possibly a sport coat. Let's not overdo it, right? Unless you want - then buy all means where tie and tails!

Noon - Family Picnic at Manito park. Invite whoever you want, bring your kids, grandkids, great-grandkids(?)! Invite people from other classes, excellent time to visit. We'll let you know the exact location later, but it will probably be in the upper park, on 25th. Bring your own food and drink, and if you're a Spokanite bring some extra camp/folding chairs if you can.

That's about it, it's going to be lots of fun with some downtime to walk around downtown, visit friends and family, and do whatever you want.

So... if you haven't signed up yet, click here. And don't forget to call, email, text, or Facebook your friends - we want a full house!!!

Hi Everyone,

Cutoff for signing up for the Saturday night event at Bluwoods is August 1st. We need payment by then in order for you to go, because we need to give a head count to the caterer. So if you're planning on going, please sign up and pay today!

It's going to be a blast, everyone. A great buffet-style dinner, beer and wine (for those who want it), dancing to 70's music until 11, and a couple of special messages from some of our classmates. It's going to be a great chance to have some fun, and reconnect with your buddies too.

So don't wait! Go to and sign up today! Right this minute! Now!!!

Looking forward to seeing all of you!

The Reunion Committee

I got this email last night from Patty Sledge. We aren't doing the job of getting a hold of people. How can we do a better job of this???

Yes, I was looking for the website last night and not sure I succeeded. How were other people contacted? I haven't received ANYTHING by mail, email, phone, nada! I am concerned that other people may be in the same boat. Thank you for thinking of me!! What IS the website?Yes, I was looking for the website last night and not sure I succeeded. Anyone have any ideas? It's getting close, realistically we have about 2 or 3 more weeks to get people signed up!

Hotel Rooms

Hey All!

Looking for a place to stay? We've got you covered, thanks to Laura Calkins (Zaer)! She's negotiated a very good rate at the Red Lion Inn At The Park (used to be Cavanaugh's, back in the day). It's the one by Riverfront, not the one on the other side of Division. It's really close to the park (in fact there is a new bridge right there) and it's walking distance to the Friday night event (just in case you might partake of a few too many libations!)

Here are the details. Please, please sign up right away! They aren't reserving a block of rooms, and when they're gone they're gone. Laura says that the LC class of 84 is staying there too, on the same weekend - so get after it!

The flyer says "Stay Overnight After The Reunion" but the rate is good for any nights you choose to stay.

If you can't read it, the phone# is (509) 326-8000 and the address is 303 W. North River Drive.

Sad news in today's Spokesman-Review. Mr. Weitz, (my favorite teacher), passed away on February 12th. He had been suffering from Alzheimer's disease for the past year. Who remembers some famous "Weitzisms"? I'll start -  I'll never forget that "Avocado's number" was 6.02 x 10 to the 23rd power. I'll never forget him - RIP Mr. Weitz!

40 year reunion weekend for the best class ever - 1974! We're planning on an informal get together on Friday, August 15 and a formal dinner on Saturday the 16th. We'd also like to have a family picnic on Sunday and if there's enough interest, a golf tournament on Saturday!

Let everyone know, and let's have a far out time!

You must be logged in to submit this survey. Please use the login box in the upper right corner.

1)   Would you be interested in participating in an optional golf tournament on Saturday, August 16th?

Yes No

We've got a DJ for the Saturday night event, and he's got a way for us to request songs. You just go to their website here and enter

and request away!

A few ideas I came up with right away. What 1974 reunion would be complete without hearing "Do a Little Dance" by KC or "Convoy"?

I'm sure you'll be able to think of a few!
